Mg Wrought Alloys

The AMTS research center holds magnesium semi-finished products in stock, at the following configurations:

  • Sheets
  • Plates
  • Profiles, tubes and bars

If you need some wrought magnesium feedstock, please contact us.
AMTS supplies material according to ASTM, AMS and MMPDS.

The wrought alloys we deal with are: AZ31B, AZ80A, AZ61A, ZK60, ZE10, ZK10, ZM21, WE43 and WE54.

The tables below show the suitability of magnesium alloys to several kinds of use. For chemical, physical and mechanical properties of various magnesium alloys click here.

This is the standard thickness/ diameter of sheets, plates, and bars:
Sheet & plate from 0.5mm (0.020") to 76mm (3") thickness.
Tooling plate from 6mm (0.250") to 355mm (14") thickness.
Round bar from 6mm (0.250") to 381mm (15")  diameter.
Rectangular bar many sizes.

Standard sheet and plate dimensions are 1219mm (48") x 3657mm (144").
Dimensions and thickness may vary from alloy to alloy.
Thickness of sheet and plate affects their dimensions.
