AMTS engineering center carries out the design process of tools and dies.
After a 3D solid model of a certain part for forming process is received, we carry out a simulation (in-house or subcontracting) of the complete forming process.
In order to do so we need to approach the elevated temperature properties of the relevant magnesium alloy (see the figure below). |

Afterwards we design the dies by Mold Tools application of SolidWorks.
The fixtures and heating tools undergo strength and heat transfer analysis.

We design heaters in a number of variations and electronic command and control systems.
When design is completed, blueprints are passed to Palbam for production and return as tools and dies to AMTS for running the process.
